Sleek Contour Kit Review

As I've recently started to get into make-up a bit more I though the next logical stage was contouring. I did some research and went for the 'Sleek' contour kit in 'Medium'.
After giving myself tribal stripes the first time I used it I've been slowly getting used to it and enjoying experimenting.
However there are definitely some pros and cons of this product.

Firstly the packaging is brilliant. It comes in a paper box that includes a kind of 'instruction manual'. I've dropped this a few times already and neither the mirror or the product has broken.
The actual palette has the two products (a bronzer and a highlighter) and then a mirror on the lid. This mirror does make the product a bit heavier but it's well worth it for the times when you need to touch up.
I've found that applying the bronzer is a little harder that I would have wanted. You have to get it in the right place first time as it won't budge after about 1.43 seconds.... okay maybe not but I do find it difficult to get it to work and blend well, without spending quite a bit of time on it.
The medium shade works very well on my pale skin and I wouldn't want it any lighter. (I'm a MAC NW13).
Below you can see the bronzer faded out towards the bottom and the highlighter next to it.
The highlighter is such a beautiful golden shade and it makes you look glowing without looking like you're a glitter ball. The bronzer is completely matte which is what I wanted because I prefer the overall matte finish on my face.
The product retails for £6.49 at Superdrug which for the amount of product, how long it lasts and the quality is a very good price.
